Only one player in MLB history has played on 14 teams in his major league career. That player is Edwin Jackson, and he'll be joined by the 45-year-old southpaw Rich Hill. After pitching in four games with the Boston Red Sox last year with a 4.91 ERA (Earned Run Average), his career looked to be finished. However, he signed a minor league contract on May 13th with the Kansas City Royals.

In nine starts in Triple-A, Hill posted a 5.36 ERA along with an even less encouraging 6.01 FIP. However, he's posted a 10.29 K/9, which is very good. How long he'll be tenured on the Royals' major league team is yet to be seen. Hill has posted a career ERA of 4.01 in 20 seasons and is on the verge of playing in 21 seasons in the majors.
